Description
Ten hand cut sheets of handmade linen watercolour paper with a medium rough tooth, made by Barcham Green to the exacting specifications of the Royal Watercolour Society in 1972.
Widely regarded as among the best artists papers ever produced, RWS handmade watercolour papers were made by the Barcham Green family at Hayle Mill from 1895 until its closure in the 1987.
Each 10 sheet pack is sent in a specially made envelope in a reusable string and washer design. The envelope is made from Colourplan Rust, a paper produced here in the Burneside in the Lake District by our sister mill, James Cropper.
Each sheet measures approximately 200mm x 280mm and has both cut and deckle edges.
