Description
Each notebook features a one-of-a-kind cover, handmade from linen and cotton rags by our small team of skilled artisans at the Paper Foundation workshop in the Lake District. Every cover is then individually decorated by Paper Foundation artistSam Park using natural pigments, ensuring that no two pieces are ever the same.
The label on the front of the book is letterpress printed onto another handmade paper (Griffin Cream 100gsm) which gives it a wonderful texture.
The notebook’s 64 plain pages are made from luxurious 135gsm paper, produced by our sister mill here in Burneside, James Cropper, offering an exceptional surface for both writing and sketching. Bound in a Swiss-style lay-flat binding, the notebook opens effortlessly for ease of use. Brightly coloured endpapers add a striking finishing touch.
Each sketchbook was designed, printed and bound in the UK and are made from local papers.
