Book and Conservation paper

All of our book and conservation papers are hand made at our paper mill in the village of Burneside. They are made from traditional non-wood papermaking fibres including hemp, linen, cotton and abaca and an alkaline buffer (calcium carbonate).

When a specific colour, fibre composition, texture or weight of paper is needed, we make papers to commission. Please contact us if this is something you need.
